A NOTE TO WISE COUNTY

Friends and Neighbors,

It is both a calling and an honor to serve the people of Wise County. Together, we have taken big steps forward: investing in infrastructure; strengthening our EMS and emergency management services; advancing public safety; and restoring our historic courthouse.  Through conservative, fiscally responsible budgeting, we’ve been able to accomplish these goals while protecting taxpayers’ hard-earned dollars.

Looking ahead, I remain committed to long-term strategic planning and projects that address growth and its challenges- from highways to water- while leveraging the strong partnerships I’ve built at the local, state, and national levels.

At every turn, my focus has been- and will remain- serving as a strong advocate for the citizens and taxpayers of Wise County.  I am always working to see that Wise County is at the table and that our county voice is heard.

Our mission is simple but powerful: “Honoring our past, building our future.” By respecting and protecting the history and values that define us while laying the groundwork for tomorrow, we will keep Wise County strong for generations to come.

We do this work for our children and our grandchildren. Together, we can make sure they inherit the Wise County they deserve. This work is important, and our work is not done.

I’m excited to keep working for you and with you, and I humbly ask for your support and your vote in the March 2026 Republican Primary.

In service,

J.D. Clark
